My mind is clouded
With the things I have
Forgotten.
Memories smashed
In the recesses of my brain.
They peek out on occasion
To tell a story
Of time,
Of place,
Of happiness,
Or sadness.
I never know
When they will appear.
And sometimes,
I am scared to think
They never will again.
