Trust... a poem Original post October 20, 2022

Trust
A poem by Michelle Marie aka MMH/Naila Moon/Sedona/Sophia/Mary Magdalene
Copyright October 20, 2022 all rights reserved

Do you see?
Do you?
Do you see,
Clearly?
Take off your rose-colored glasses
And look.
You are worthy,
Worthy,
Worthy,
Of what the Creator has put before you.
You are not
At a crossroads
But,
Just beginning the journey.
You think just because
You are “X” age
That you should know
This path?
Ha, no!
A four year old
May know better.
The Creator opens the path
A bit at a time,
Small steps,
Slowly,
Gently,
So that you
Don’t stumble.
You think
The Creator has abandoned
You?
Ha, no!
Haven’t you ever read
“Footprints?”
Open up,
Be(e) free to grow.
Stop
Wallowing
And
Blaming.
Stand up
To the truth
Before you.
Hope
Is everything.
Trust it!

The Goddess of Rain...a poem

The Goddess of Rain
By Michelle R. aka Naila Moon of the Grey Wolf
Original copyright August 22, 2019 (on fb)...reposted here August 22, 2025...all rights reserved
Dedicated to Chamuel the Archangel aka Sammy

The goddess of rain cried today.
Each tear that fell hit the pavement like a drum beats.
Tap,
Tap,
Tapping in a syncopated rhythm.

She wailed
more
and more
overflowing the rivers
and shaking up the seas.

She cried
out of excruciating pain that has welled up in her for some time.
She cried
in utter shame for her children that have not taken care of what was given to them.

Powerless,
all I could do was watch,
listen,
and hope
that all would be healed.

The New Hope...A poem

The New Hope

By Michelle Hudson aka Mary Magdalene/ Naila Moon

copyright June 15, 2025

Alone in the quiet recesses of my mind

I listen to the beats of natural music

It is in tune with my soul's purpose

As my heart tries desperately to mend.

I cannot seem to free myself of the new wounds

Gaping

Oozing

Bleeding so profusely

I am certainly trying.

I had worked so hard to rise above all the

Muck

Sneers

Unkind whispers.

I feel so foolish,

It seems ridiculous to feel this way.

Time is so short.

So, so short.

It keeps ticking away

And yet, it is just illusion.

Or so it has been said.

I just hope

When I am completely done on this Earth

That I made a difference

And my spirit in whomever it arrives

Will know what to do

Will know that I existed

Will never have to feel

What I feel

Right now.

That that person

That new hope

Will only feel

Love and peace.

Let It Be, What Is ...a poem

 Let It Be, What Is

Poem by Michelle Marie/Mary Magdalene/Naila Moon
Copyright January 4, 2023
I walk in the darkness only to be led by
an almost full moon.
I'm led by a small splattering of stars,
the air crisp and so cool,
I can see my breath in front of me.
I remember I'm breathing,
I'm alive!
I see a streak in the clouds.
Is that the hand of the Creator trying to touch me,
to move me gently forward into something unknown?
I move forward in the darkness
step by step.
I don't question my existence
because I know
that I'm here for something greater.
I just wish sometimes I knew what that was. But, I also know that it's okay not to know,
for that is where the Creator is speaking to the heart.
Get out of your mind!
I said, get out of your mind!
Let It Be, what is.

Most Beautiful One!...a poem

Most Beautiful One!

A poem by Michelle Marie/Sophia/Sedona/Naila Moon

copyright October 3, 2022

You are

Most beautiful,

Indeed you are!

Your beauty

Makes me cry

Just thinking of you.

YESHUA

Being

In your presence

Is everything.

I am

Humbled.

I am

Purified.

YESHUA

I see you,

See me,

See others,

See the world.

YESHUA

Your radiance

Is blinding,

But,

It is warm

As the suns rays.

I can

Bask in it.

YESHUA

Your message

Is clear.

Love.

Hope.

Peace.

YESHUA

What more

Could anyone ask for?

What more

Could anyone want?

YESHUA

I love you.

Flame Raging! ...a poem

 Flame Raging! A poem

by Michelle Marie Hudson aka Mary Magdalene aka Naila Moon

Copyright June 19, 2022

I was walking

Down an unknown road.

Oh, so slowly

My mind was reeling

In pain.

So, much pain.

I felt lost

To the world.

A body

With nothing to hold it up.

I ran smack into

Your essence.

You smiled

And poured out your

Light to me.

It shown so brightly

That I had to put on my sunglasses.

Recognition.

Flame!

Wow, my heart

Is on fire.

I see you

See me.

My head

Held high.

For the first time

I stepped high

Swift as a gazelle.

Name change.

Truth

Told.

Raging,

Burning,

Looking into my soul.

Winning.

Drowning (tenative) ...a poem #poetry #mypoetry

Drowning  (Tentative title)

by Michelle Marie H aka Naila Moon

copyright June 8, 2022

Feel like I am

In a sea of illusion.

Feeling

Confusion.

Right or left

Which way to go?

People pretending.

Wanting a piece

Of me

Then flee.

Cast off like

Nothing.

I am supposed

To not feel

Or want

Or need.

No!

I am just supposed

To be

Or so they say.

I am

Nothing.

Flames

Rise

And

Fall.

Souls

Do too.

I am supposed

To be strong.

I am supposed

To withstand

It all.

Instead

I am crying

Alone

And

drowning.

See

Me.

Love...a poem

Love

By Michelle Hudson aka Naila Moon

copyright April 12, 2021

Love is speaking ,

 Healing my hurt heart.

 It is flooding open wide.

 I can't figure it out.

I knew you were playing me before,

But I could not let go of you.

Then you changed in an instant.

A heart began to see me.

Bleeding open wide.

Your love grows immeasurable.

A heart needing oneness

With me.

You are longing for

My touch.

A sweetness

That will take us

To the moon and back.

You want to bathe

In the glow of my love.

Have I been foolish

To let you in to my heart so soon?

I hope not,

Because I want you,

I crave you,

I need you,

To be mine.

Sadness Over What Could Have Been...a poem

Sadness Over What Could Have Been

A poem by Michelle H. aka Naila Moon copyrighted 3/21/2021

I had hoped to hear from you,

Today,

 Sometime.

You seem to have become,

A ghost.

I hate this wedge,

The one that got driven,

Over a misunderstanding?

I don't think so,

Maybe I have been fooling myself.

I wanted this to be real.

I wanted you to be real.

Not someone trying to gain...

What?

Power.

Money.

A good laugh,

At my expense?

I want to believe that,

You desire me,

Want to have me.

Live a possible life,

Together.

But no.

It looks like,

You probably

Lied.

For that,

I am,

Sad.

I Say Goodbye Again...a reposted poem #SepiaSaturday #mypoetry #telegrams

I Say Goodbye Again

By: Michelle H. aka Naila Moon

Copyrighted 2009-All rights reserved

NOTE: This is a repost from a poem I wrote in 2009. It fits this vintage photo I found online in the public commons section.

I said goodbye to you
And kissed you on your cheek
You were off to war
And we couldn't hardly speak.

You told me not to worry
That you would be home soon
And you hoped some great guys
Would be in your platoon.

I got all your letters
And cherished each and every one
Just hoping for the day
That you could see
Your new born son.

Then one rainy morning
On a Sunday afternoon
I received a telegram
That told the story
Of your death too soon.

The purple heart arrived
In testament to your valor
I hold it close to me
And cry at this very hour.

For now, I must kiss you
And say goodbye again,
To my husband, my love,
And my eternal best friend.
---------------------------------------

Notes...
I cannot imagine ever having to receive one of these.

Unfortunately, my grandparents did. It was about my uncle who was serving in the Peace Corp. He did not want to go into the military like his brothers but still wanted to serve his country.  I never got to meet him for he died serving just before my parents were married.

Here are some other ones I found.

Opened Door...a poem

Opened Door

I opened the door and asked you to come in
But you were not there.

An emptiness enveloped me
Before I could close it again.

Loneliness of time gone by
Broke me in half.

Words.

Images.

Places.

Romance.

All gone
Within a whoosh.

I looked for help to the walls of my room
But nothing struck back at me.

Self.

Isolation.

Depression.

I grasped the door knob
Hoping for some relief from the pain.

Grief.

Anger.

Bargaining.

Acceptance?
No.

But in the end
I will close the door.

And start over.

Double Decker Woes by Michelle H. #SepiaSaturday #FlashFliction

Oh, I am so late, so, so late. It figures the bus is crowed. Maybe I can get a seat up top. Why oh, why did my meeting have to go on so long? She'll forgive me for being late. I wonder what we will have for dinner?

At least Mr. Giles liked my art work. Hopefully, I can start the project before the baby comes. Margaret has not been on the nest too long, it is possible.  Maybe I should design something for the nursery. Yes, she would like that.

Oh, this bus! Where did all these people come from anyway? We aren't on holiday.
I have to purchase a ticket. Wallet, wallet, where is my wallet? Oh yes, it is in the case with my drawings.

Get it together man! I won the project and have a baby coming, but the pressure, it is already killing me. I can do this. I know I can!

But, first, I need to get on the damnable bus!

Scared...A poem

 Scared
A Poem by Michelle (Hudson) Richards
Previously undated or posted
All rights reserved 2020

The moon is my muse
and darkness my guide.

I am swept into the abyss
as the pen glides across
the life beats of my heart.

Echos of sanity is near
but too far for me
to reach out and touch them.

I can only see the unknown
and it scares me.

December Winds...a poem

December winds
Blow in today
Bring cold
And snow
And actually,
Love my way.

For the most holy
Of holy
Special Days
The Creator gave me
Yet another gift this day.

For you see
This December
Christmas Day,
I married the love of my life
In a most special way.

I could not have asked
For a better gift
Than to spend
My life
With a man
Such as this.
--------------------------------------------------
To my husband on our 1st Anniversary, December 25, 2009.  I love you.

Hope...A Poem

Hope
by Michelle (Hudson) Richards aka Naila Moon
copyright Jan. 3, 2019

I sit upon my hands
Entrenched with anger.
I look out onto the sea
With a hope of a new future.
The waves wash over me
Like a newborn removed
From its mother.
I feel a calmness
Invade my innermost thoughts
And I am now free.

A Quiet Need...a poem

A Quiet Need
by Michelle H. aka Naila Moon

In the quietest of moments,
I feel loneliness
that I cannot shake.

A longing,
A want.

No!

A need,
That has festered within me.

I have needed it so long now
That I am nothing but
A whisp
Of myself.

What do I do?

I suppose,
I listen,
Wait,
And hope.

Our Libraries...A thoughtful story

Our Libraries
By: Michelle R aka Naila Moon

It is said, "When someone dies a library is burnt."

I was 33 years old. A young, single, hard-working mom of two.  I had a decent job in a busy, bustling home care agency in Missouri.
Over the years, I had heard of special clients who had passed on.  I even had my own share of special people who had died in my life. I watched my Paw-Paw for weeks die right before my eyes.  I saw both of my Great-Grandmothers, an uncle, and two close friends and just last year my beloved Grandma and my Dad.  However,  through all of that, nothing would prepare me for the events and the silence that followed, that occurred on September 11, 2001.

It is said, " When someone dies a library is burnt."

I had more than once used this phrase before. I had even meditated on its meaning but on September 11th the meaning became all too clear.  The meaning took on something huge! Something, that even after I sit here and write these words, I simply could not fathom was happening.  For those of us that were able to remember, we saw right before our eyes 3000 plus people perish before us. We saw New York in flames.  Was this New York's libraries burning of those 3000 plus people?  Maybe that is so.
My question is were they forgotten?  I do not think so, but their knowledge, their infectious smiles, their laughter, their entire being is gone.  The meaning is there: in other words each of their libraries was perished in that fateful loss.

So here it is, eleven years later, We as a people have taken more books off our own shelves. We have learned, we have grown and we are stronger.  We also, do not forget so easily. Well, at least I don't.
I know one thing is for sure. I will never again walk in to or see a library the same way. I will not see the rows upon rows of books and not think of all those men, women and children.

Yes, your libraries have been burnt but you are not forgotten!

In the Moonbeam...a poem

In the Moonbeam
by MR aka Naila Moon
All rights reserved Feb. 2016

I looked out on the horizon of the night.
The moon shown brightly,
As moonbeams struck the Earth below.

I called out your name
As if you were there,
Waiting for me,

I desperately searched,
To catch a glimpse
Of the love you used to have
For me.

You were not there.

I only saw shadows dancing
In the beams of what had been.
A distant likeness,
Now,
Gone.

I attempted to hold
those shadows
But they only fell through my fingers,
Displaying only memories
Of time gone by.

I continued to wait,
Hoping,
Living,
Breathing,
But in the end,

You were not there,
And I had to move on,

Alone.

Writing Her Heart Out...A Story in 100 Words

Writing Her Heart Out
by MR aka Naila Moon
All rights reserved August 2015

Leslie looked down at the paper in front of her. It was a blank sheet staring at her, begging her to put pen to paper. The blue lines were meshing into each other; they blurred and twisted wildly, fighting for attention.

Panic rose up in side of Leslie’s throat, squeezing the air she was trying to breathe. Her thoughts consumed her as she tapped her pen against her flushed cheek.

"What do I do?" she thought.

She had pulled an all-nighter before this big day. She knew the material. She began to write the essay with all her heart.

Unfair...a poem

Unfair
By MR aka Naila Moon
All rights reserved
June 2015

I am a mess of flesh,
supposedly written
before I had the chance
to decide.

Unfair it seems.

I am riddled with dreams
of the past
but not
of the future.

They haunt me
and I do not
sleep.

Unfair it seems.

What am I to do?
Drugs.
Therapy.
Anxiety.
Depression.

Unfair it seems.

Yet, here I sit
with it all.
Waiting for
the next step
to happiness again.

Unfair it seems.
