I have a hurt so entrenched
That my soul cries.

Wounded
Does not begin to describe
My pain.

I had hoped
For a better outcome
But,
Suffering seems to be
My life.

Why cannot I have love
And
Be loved?

Why do thing always seem
One sided?

Why do I have to feel
Rejected again?

Why!

I have been subjected to
Being stabbed in the heart.
Over
And
Over
And
Over.

I feel like
Nothing.
My happiness
Gone.
